VENDLET V5 wins a prize again

Again VENDLET V5 wins a prize at the conference Moving & Handling People in London.

3. February 2014

The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) is pleased to announce that Vendlet’s VENDLET V5 won the award for ‘Most Interesting Product’ at Moving & Handling People 2014, held on 30 and 31 January in London’s Business Design Centre.

The victory follows upon a similar success at Moving & Handling People 2013, when it won ‘Best Product on Show’ from a field of highly innovative new product launches.

Both awards are significant in that they are voted on by attendees, who are professionals working in the health and social care sectors.  Furthermore, the VENDLET V5’s double success is unique in the conferences history.

Organised by DLF, Moving & Handling People is an annual CPD-accredited conference for moving and handling practitioners, service providers and equipment suppliers. It is the leading event of its kind in the UK.

DLF is one of the UK’s leading health charities. It provides expert and impartial advice on living independently at home to over 1 million enquirers every year, helping older people, adults with disabilities and parents of disabled children. It is also a vital resource for carers and health professionals.  As well as organising the annual Moving & Handling People conference, DLF runs a best-practice training programme with courses dedicated to Manual Handling, Hoist & Sling Assessment, Grab Rails and related subjects.
