To support our growth strategy, we are happy to welcome to the team our new Sales Manager, Paul Hofstede, who has more than 20 years of experience within healthcare.
For the last few years, Vendlet B.V. has been successful in establishing itself as a trustworthy supplier of quality assisted living solutions in the Netherlands. This success is not least attributed to our trusted employee, Robbert-Jan van Dam, who has contributed to the continuous growth of the company as Sales Manager.
However, Robbert-Jan is entering a new chapter of life and is moving to Bonaire with his wife, to start a new and exciting adventure. Although we are reluctant to let go of Robbert-Jan, Vendlet B.V. want nothing more than to see them succeed and wish them all the best. Although Robbert-Jan leaves some big shoes to be filled, we have found just the right person for the job and are happy to welcome to the team Paul Hofstede as our new Sales Manager.
Since 2001 Paul has worked for Essity Health and Medical Solutions (formerly SCA Hygiene Products) as Sales Director, where he has gained extensive experience with growing and developing international businesses while also obtaining in-depth knowledge of the Dutch Healthcare system.
More recently, Paul has worked with a smaller start-up that deals with gamesoftware for people with cognitive disabilities, and therefore knows what it entails to work in and grow a smaller organization, such as Vendlet. As such, Paul is truly well-travelled within the realm of healthcare and has a passion for the industry: “What truly motivates me about working within Healthcare, is being able to provide support and solutions which benefit us as humans in one of the most valued aspects of our live - health!” Paul says.
And Paul will be contributing with much more than his knowledge of sales. “Paul has a long career within sales in healthcare, but more importantly he shares our company values and our beliefs about the importance of working in a team of dedicated colleagues,” says CEO of Vendlet Group, Peter Maindal, about why the choice fell on Paul to fill the role as Sales Manager.
In his new role at Vendlet, Paul will help develop Vendlet B.V. both offline and online as part of the growth strategy for the market. “Paul joins us at a time when we expect to increase our efforts on the market and to grow the company significantly over the coming years,” says Peter Maindal.
Among other things this means expanding the team with one or two more employees in 2021, but the company is also looking to expand on other areas of business as 2021 will offer several product launches and the launch of a new website to enhance the company’s online presence.
“The foundation of Vendlet B.V. is already established, so now it is time to speed up the process and spread awareness about our company and our solutions. By doing so I am convinced we will be able to develop Vendlet B.V. according to our ambitions,” Paul says about his new role.
“I believe that Paul will be able to support and drive this growth and ongoing development forwards,” says Peter Maindal and continues: “All in all, he is a very good match, and I really look forward to our cooperation.”
Robbert-Jan van Dam has his last day on the 25th of March and has spend the last few weeks easing Paul into his new job.
