Based on increasing international interest, Vendlet has expanded the market development team.
As interest from international customers and distributors increase, Vendlet has decided to expand the market development team with a new member. Anne Højgaard will join educational consultant, Pia Beck, in order to grow Vendlet’s educational programmes abroad. Anne will be working closely with Pia to offer educational and training programmes in English, to meet the rising demand, as Vendlet’s international activities continue to grow.
As our new educational consultant, Anne’s main task will be to understand the challenges facing our export markets related to healthcare technology, and then apply relevant product and service solutions from Vendlet to solve these challenges. Anne will also ensure that our distributors and customers have the necessary training and understanding of Vendlet’s products, by offering seminars and educational materials in English.
Anne finished her education as a nurse from Vejle Sygeplejeskole in 2012, and has since worked as a trained nurse in emergency, orthopedic surgery, and homecare departments. Her experience from the field of practice has given her an excellent understanding of the everyday work of healthcare professionals. In 2016, Anne finished a master’s degree in nursing science from the university of Aarhus, and has since gained international experience, working as a product specialist at the international healthcare company Abena.
While working at Abena, Anne gained experience with understanding products and services in different global contexts. ”As an educational consultant, I can help identify the issues and challenges facing different healthcare systems, in order to understand how Vendlet can best apply our expertise and knowledge," she says. Anne is also certified in the European Medical Device Directive (MDD), a resource she can make use of across international markets.
“What really convinced me that Vendlet is the right place for me, is their continuous focus on the patient. In my experience, a clear focus on the patient will result in better development opportunities, both in regards to research and product development. And when we develop better products based on scientific knowledge, we will always create better circumstances for the end user of our products,” Anne says, and continues, “When I teach, I always focus on the latest research in the field, and how to adapt the knowledge that exists at Vendlet to the context of the distributor.”
