The founder Christian Buus had a disabled daughter, who was cared for at home. As the daughter grew older, his wife could no longer endure the physical strain of turning her daughter in bed. Thus, he invented the first VENDLET almost 30 years ago.
The solution was successful and Christian Buus naturally thought that the product could be of benefit to others. The solution was patented and the foundation for the development of the company was laid with the launching of the completely unique patient turning system VENDLET HC-2.
His sons Heine and Flemming Buus took over the business after their father in 1990.
In June 2010 physiotherapist Peter Maindal bought the company and changed the company name to Vendlet ApS.
In addition Peter Maindal has made a number of significant changes and today the company stands as a strong knowledge-based company, which focuses on professionalism, innovation and product development.
This is why Vendlet ApS is a young and dynamic company with a long and personal history.
